Flatworms and worms

Flatworms

Flatworms are simple, bilaterian, unsegmented, soft-bodied invertebrates. They have no body cavity and no specialized circulatory and respiratory organs. Oxygen and nutrients pass through their bodies by diffusion. The single opening of the digestive cavity is used for both ingestion and egestion.
